Isn't Z-10 being a chinese copy of mangusta, and those being ideal placeholder with little retexture?

I have no idea about the maps. I think we can use the current maps but we can make our maps ın the future(I hope so).
As I said, firstly we can use the current maps. Like This:
-Al Basrah
Turkish Land Forces vs Insurgency
-Burning Sands
Turkish Land Forces vs MEC
-Silent Eagle
Turkish Land Forces vs Russian Ground Forces
etc.

You may be right. Z-10 looks like T-129 but there are differences. Maybe we can get some help from the Z-10.

if they follow real world events, then the turkish armed forces would probably fight russia or the taliban (turkey has over 1000 troops deployed in afghanistan as it takes part of the NATO mission there)
another idea would be: turkish forces vs iraqi insurgents, which would also makes sense and is a realistic scenery
EDIT: TAF was faster than me

sorry TAF, saw your post after i pressed the POST button

You are assuming you can just use them, that's a bad idea.

Why ???

Because the mapper created them and created them for a reason. If you want to change factions you would need to ask them or the lead mapper, not just do what you want.

Hmm I understand. Thanks.

ARF is the only faction I have witnessed getting introduced without new maps. Didn't turn out all that great for the faction

New factions need new maps.
Nothing really stops you from altering those maps though for (test) events outside from asking us though. That's totally fine, but for the end-game you will need interesting new maps. With the extensive middle eastern statics we got and a interesting region such as turkey and it's neighboring countries shouldn't be too hard to find some nice concepts

Finding a mapper however is gonna be a bit harder. Mappers usually come up with their own concepts.

Like how the Netherlands got their own maps in the beginning but now that they only got Dovre Summer they don't get played as often because people prefer the Germans on Dovre winter.

I am interested!
I will only work with precise information

why not Otokar Cobra instead of the Otocar ZPT.
Cobra getting more used by the army and ZPT by police most likely.

Turkish land forces could use a layer on sbeneh outskirts and on Bijar canyons because Syria and Israel are it's potential opponents as they are already in game.

Another plausible scenario would be a Turkey vs Kurd troops (those being militia faction)

That's a lot of modelling work you'll need there. Pretty much all of the assets are going to have to be custom made except for the Huey and the Attack chopper which can be a retextured Z-10 to begin with.
I'd like to see a faction such as Turkey in PR because its assets are going to be unique unlike most of the factions that have an AK, a variation of an AK or an M-16 or a variation of an M-16 as well as similar vehicles. But yeah, you'll have a lot of work to do to get all of those assets in.

Turkish faction should get their own maps instead of speculating "maybe we can use map X or map Y", read below what Rabbit said

Of course, they shouldn't do it without permission. And TBH even if he changes factions on the map, the Devs won't allow these layers without seeing some evidence of the mapper's approval.

Maybe finish it before talking about putting it on maps.

Maybe Turkey vs Israel or Turkey vs Russia in game
