Hey guys i was wonderign that is there really a thing called the MEC>? i mean we are fighting insergent terroist so i thought how bout instead of the MEC army that you guys just make it all insergent army with AK47, G3, Ak 101, the HK SMg, and RPK and RPG's what is theat huge removable tube with a rocket inside called? i dont think insergents use that. and also another thing about hummers do you all think they take a bit to much damage from smakll arms fire? i think they do or what it seems to me. and maybe insteasd of thast huge rediculas vanm thing for a transport how bout a pick up wioth a DSHK or M2 or recoiless gun on it?

question where is the suburban SUV i always wanted to drive that sucker.

another thing i think that possibly maybe add teh M240 to the Ameicans and also mount it on Hummers along with the M2 and what abotu the M1abrams what abotu giving iit the M240 it does mouth it right next to the M2 look at USi mod they did it.
also what abotu sounds of the M1 i think they are a bit low,USI did a great jobn with there engine sounds.

How about the insergents get more thant he t90 its a bit too advanced, how bout the t80 t54 t62 t72 maybe the old t34/85 rarely seen but still commendered by insergents.

IDk but do the marines also have other battle tanks they use besides the M1> i mean in the gulf war they had teh M551 and the M60. idk if they use anyr thing else.. oh how bout this... is it possible to add the US army in i mean make the AMerican side both army and marine core half and half ? i thought that would be cool in integrate army thing in too if they have any other vehicles for use or weapons?

There isn't really something called the MEC, it's entirely fictional. Insurgent armies are not exactly feasible, they work in small-group guerilla tactics, the MEC are a functional army outside of insurgent control. Say: the insurgents are the ones fighting in Iraq and such but the MEC is a combination of other Middle Eastern countries. The MEC are using mostly older European weapons, like the G3's and AK's because most counries in the region also do. The large launcher with removable tube is called the ERYX. The hummers have been beefed up a bit in v0.5.

The suburban is only in the Extraction game-mode where the objective is to get the VIP to the extraction zone.

M240 is feasible, but not exactly planned as of yet.

The insurgents only have the T62, not the T90. The MEC have the T90.

I don't think the marines have any battle tanks??? We've just bunched up the US forces together so don't take the "USMC" label too seriously.

I doubt you've even played the game once - if you had, you wouldn't have asked 90% of those questions

if thats a T-72....we have problems, if its a T-54 (which i think it is though a dev just told me different) we are in good terms.

as you can see there the T-72 is WAY lower profile then the tank in game

you can see that the "T-72" the insurgents use looks remarkably like the T-54... and hummers will get shut down by an AK-47 so they make sence in .4

the insurgent tsnk is a t 62 mbt

if the mec was real wuldnt we hav another war by now?

Marines have M1A1s and A2s, but no Bradleys, Strykers, M113s or self propelled arty AFAIK.

OK then if the mec is all the middle eastern countries then how bout adding thier weapons, i mean i dont think most use the G3 do they? i think that the AK 47 should be with teh MEC's as well. alogn witht eh RPK for a support kit. as for vehicles, perhaps that tanks that are used in other middle eastern countries used, i dont thin the T90 is every where there must still be some older technology form teh soviets given to the countires such as the t80 and t72? etc. and if you say the marine label is not taken seriously then why not add army vehiclas such as the stryker, m113 etc. perhaps the M240 if you guys add it which i hope for the support kits could be random either you get a M240 or M249 50 50 chance. along with teh RPF and that HK MG for the MEcs 50 50 chance of either i think that would be cool. and yes to the comment i havnt played yes i have im very expeirenced.

Okay, at least every one of your suggestions has been posted at least 3 times before. The US Army the devs are saying is slated for development (they hope) later this year, but not now. They have to finish the Military Forces already in-game (MEC, PLA, Insurgent, UK, USMC). And just putting the M240 in with a 50 50 chance thing still wouldn't be realistic. That would be the (dare I say it) CSS way to do it. Just toss an extra weapon in the game.

PS, If you have played then you must be new to the forums. Check the rules (use search function im sure it says) before you post. Lotsa locked topics due to that.

Saudi Arabia supposedly has a contract with Fabrique Nationale for them to provide FN2000s for their security forces...

I believe back in the 91 Iraq war the Marines MBT was still the M60 Patton, but they are now using the M1A1 and M1A2. I'd check with eddie baker, but wikipedia is usually pretty accurate.
