Any mil sim oriented unit recruiting?
Most likely EU based?

edit: can't find POV nor UTD and TP isn't recruiting aparently. Any others?

I know people may enjoy MILSIM in PR, but, dammit, it feels so cringe-y to even think about using MILSIM tactics in this kind of fast paced tactical shooter. I totally understand ARMA MILSIM clans, but in PR it just seems like a double gimmick.

Of course it's only my opinion (together with like 95% of other PR players/"vets". Some people cringe at me when I'm considering myself a vet, hehe, but, dammit, If you're gonna tell me that, I'm just gonna screw you all and go home. Keke, I even remember spamming all chat in 2008. (when I was a total tryhard) asking people to join my INF squad to "play this game as it was intended" (I did that in situations when most other INf squads were disfunctional, e.g., not even doing the basic thing of sticking together). And to my surprise it worked. Sorry for the offtopic though.

Anyway, there's a place for everyone (except fucking noobs who don't want to learn) in PR. Just one basic obligation is that one should take this game as serious as they can.

On topic again: IMHO, the best "MILSIM" clan that I've shared many rounds with (not playing with them, but working with them as an SL leading another INF squad and working together with them) is the TP (tiger platoon) guys. They really know the ropes in and out and all around. And they seem like a good tight knit bunch of mature people that, IMHO, only seem a bit cringey-milsim'ey on their outer shell, but in game they don't use the stupid slow placed milsim tactics that really doesn't work in PR that well (instead they know when to adapt, be fast and efficient; and also they're really fucking experienced, as IIRC they've been playing for at least 10 years [at least the SL guys]).

So my vote goes for [TP].

But If I was you, I'd probably join [3-ducks] (or what where they called..) or some other clan that take PR seriously but without the gimmicky MILSIM aspect.

EDIT: OP, just contact [TP] main guy Anderson or what was his name. In their forum section it doesn't seem that there's a message that they're not recruiting. And IMHO if they're not recruiting, you can still have a chat with them in TS3 and maybe just have some games with them. Who knows, maybe you can surprise them with your dedication and they'll take you anyway. In their case it's worth the try.

I think playing milsim is fun, and I don't see how it would affect you negatively in PR. On the contrary, every time I've managed to lead a milsim squad with people who dedicated to it, we did great.

I tried to register to TP but not getting confirmation email (been almost a day, and tried two accounts). God damn it, not my lucky one.

Also this being said I wanna just clear out a few assumptions around my clan. It seems a lot in the PR community look at us as the super serious wanna-be soldiers type clan, this is surely not the case. Surely I can not change your way of thinking but I can say, come have a game or two with us, if you see us on a deployment server even in a locked squad.. Ask us to unlock, 9 times out of 10 we will. So come meet us and fight along side us for a few rounds.

We can typically be found on Merk, DPRC & HOG during the week!

Yeah, really love your unit T.T
But there's really nothing I can do about it, and I honestly had no freaking idea my country GMT changes during summer, 'cause I would have at least avoided the hassle that way. And at the end of the summer I'll have even less time at my disposal.
