The Project Reality Training Initiative

Hello Everybody,
Before I go any farther I would like to mention a few things about myself as a player. I've been playing PR off and on since version 0.6. Never been active on the forums simply because I've never been into forums. Regardless I've been super active on the gameplay front, and one thing I'm sure we all know can ruin a game. A serious lack in knowledge.

This game is completely built off of teamwork, and now that it's even more accessible than its ever been, we see even more new players. This is awesome, and it's great to see our community grow. That said if they don't know how to play it can bog down games, or make certain teams unfair. I've been thinking for some time, and I feel as though it's time to roll out an effort on our part as "vets".
Let me fill you guys in. The "Project Reality Training Initiative" is not what I would like to consider a clan. I much prefer the idea of it being a program, with some dedicated members. I know new players would accept training, but not have the time to commit to a clan. In an effort to improve the community as a whole I would like to provide this. Not only could we provide training, but it would create a network of like minded individuals in a low stress environment that could team up in pub games often.
I'm sure most of you know when you have a squad of 8 players all on the same page PR is an entirely different game. It flows 100% different. It's possible this could happen more often with a better trained community.
I appreciate the fact we have a very well done manual available to explain everything in PR, but literature and experience are two different animals. I would like for us to have training nights that cover a broad range. Anything from beginners training & Weapon familiarization, squad tactics & communication, Asset Use, to Squad Leader training. We can train the noobs, and we can train vets. Even with the amount of hours I put into this game I still learn new things, and that's what makes it awesome. We also as a community need more people willing to be Squad Leads that know what their responsibilities are.
If anyone's interested in helping me push this program further don't hesitate to send me a message. I can be reached on this forum, or directly though my steam account. My account is Steam Community :: Chris Chance
Look forward to hearing from you guys!
