[Windows 10] Touchpad tap-to-click area

I upgraded my wife's laptop from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10, but now the touchpad 'tap-to-click' area is not the full size of the touchpad. So if this is my touchpad, the inner rectangle is where I can tap-to-click:

I can move the cursor using the entire touchpad and when I push-to-click, I can do that from anywhere as well. It's only tap-to-click that wants to stay clear from the edges for some reason. This was no issue on Windows 8.1.

Any ideas on how to improve this?

Drivers, besides that area on borders is for scrolling so it wont tap-click in that area if that feature is activated. And by the looks it seems so.

Solution is to look for win10 drivers if any, if not then play with CP> Mouse settings.

Windows Update couldn't help (as to be expected), so downloaded a new Synaptics Touchpad driver which works like a charm!
