This issue sometimes happens from time to time.

Fix:
Go to My Documents/Documents, right-click the 'ProjectReality' folder and select 'Properties'. Select the Read-Only box until it's blank and then select Apply.

Also, in the Project Reality Launcher, go to Support, then Utilities and in Clear Shader Cache, select 'Perform Task'. After that, when loading a map, it will say 'Optimizing' which is normal. May take slightly longer to load the game but since it's rebuilding the shader cache, it will only happen once.

It won't let me change the read only option, it says that access is denied even though I used my computers admin password to edit the files, it still won't allow me to set it to read only

Are you on Windows 8/10 by any chance?

See if this fixes the access is denied message:

Go to the start menu/in the search box type in cmd.exe and run as an admin.

Then type in 'shutdown /r /t 0' without the commas. What this would do is restart your computer without the hybrid sleep shutdown, meaning it does a cold restart which might fix this issue.

If it still is not allowing access, we could force unlock it. Download and install unlocker, then right-click on ProjectReality and select the tool. The rest is straight forward.

Otherwise it might need to be uninstalled (Also deleting ProjectReality folder afterwards) and then with the setup, run as an admin and set the Project Reality shortcut/launcher on the file options to 'Run as an Administrator', then launch and basically creating the profile again
