A question I wanted to know... I love WW2, and I am bored of the modern in PR, and I wanted to fight some Jerrys.

I think Based host a server with the latest public release of the mod every now and then. Dunno if they announce it on the forums or not.

I believe they're alternating the server on weekends on and off and every 2 times its up it switches from NA to EU. Also nobody wants to play the germans or muricans all the time on only 3 maps. Especially with the low player counts these days.

The mod seems dead, checking it every day and no one plays :/

Most people enjoy WW2, but having separate servers with just the mod is splitting community (and we are not that big to begin with). I assume that when the mod is 100% finished, it will be included with the main release just like PR:V and soon Falklands.

Population died from about a month ago(take a few days off, around like 25-27 days ago).
Here's the famous Omaha Beach that everyone loves.
But heres something to feast your eyes on.
"hey quickload, how's PR ww2?"
Honestly, boat casulties are:
90% machinegun fire getting lucky through slits.
3% Panzershreck/Panzerfaust fire.
6% Pak-40 HEAT shells slamming into the front of boats.
0.5% Sniper Fire
0.5% Mortars getting super super lucky.

Typically depopulates a while after events start. It's normal, and just like others said it's mostly that it's on other servers separate from the main mod. Eventually when it's integrated I'm sure you'll see much more

Three Reasons
1. Because it's not integrated into the core mod.
2. The balance kinda sucks.
3. Not enough content. Three maps, no pacific theater, russian front, etc.

Might as well integrate the limited version.

The PR devs aren't the sort to put anything into the main release unless its 100% done.

If you want to play a realistic ww2 game that is still alive, you might give forgotten hope 2 a try. Just like PR it is a bf2 mod and it is free. Most of the time, there are 40-100 people playing the game so you probably won't have problems finding a populated server.

That's been the mentality since 1.0, it isn't going to change, and it's probably for the best.
On the other hand, half assing it is better than having people redownload every time a server wants to do an event.

FH2 high quality maps and contents + PR gameplay style = best ww2 mod ever !

If only the 2 DEV teams could reach some sort of arrangement to make that happen ...

??:

I thought all FH2 maps were below the PR standard, like they were way too small and too many assets and shit.

The quality level of FH2 maps tend to vary. But even so FH2 also suffers from player pop probs too. I mostly never play it since I'm from NA and there are hardly ever NA servers online that are populated.
