PRT C11 through the eyes of a PDI NCO [IMG Heavy]

I posted a bunch of screenshots in the PDI team forums throughout campaign 11. They are mostly from my squad 5th *** in the PDI team. Events shown are various prep battles, squad pubbings, team trainings and proper battles.

While we wait for C12 to start I figured I'd post some of my favourite ones to get people interested and bring back some memories.

Great image post

Was this defensive setup successful?

And here, what is this all about? Promo event or something tactical ongoing?

The defensive setup was super effective, MRF never managed to enter most of the buildings lel

Too be fair we did manage to enter them, only well...not clear them out.

I still have nightmares about it.

Mock up training. First team to reach the opponent's FOB(not pictured) wins.

Yep. This was a team training, and the other team looked the same but mirrored. It was to familiarize people with the terrain and practise some forest clearing.

This is from the actual battle deployment, so you can kinda see what we were preparing for:

Dragon Fly?, the map with the defensive setup, I have seen a video from that battle, think it was from sweedensniiperr (good videos btw), where his squad was deployed in the center, for defense I think, or tactical reserve?, building stuff, while the MRF team consolidated its part of the river, and then crossed in the center/south part, from where his Squad at some point followed up and fought in some hills outside the city, or something, followed by an assault into the south part of that setup, or close to that I think it was?

Say, didn't MRF win that battle?

Copy, not seen something like that before, looks interesting.

Yup 4 hour battle and they won by 1 ticket.

Cant get any closer than one ticket. Great battle to watch.

MRF win after 4 hours by one ticket.

Yep, a special battle result, no doubt. Also a fairly long battle when you think of it.

Using sweedensniiperrs video, where at 04:02:00 precisely, the battle result appears.

Could it be that Dragonfly became the most special battle result, during C11? The longest battle also?

It was the longest because of stalemate. Militia defending city where they of course have upper hand. GB reluctant to go in because it's near suicide to attack city. Of course Militia reluctant to move out because again GB has upper hand out side the city. Both sides playing it safe, ended up in this stalemate.

We as GB did enter the city but it kinda did not gave us any fruitful results. I was surprised that we were so close.

Yes thats true, I recall that stalemate, watching sweedensniiperrs squad deploying assets while talking about the progress of the battle and I remember I thought; why are the MRF not attacking the city from start? Figured it was perhaps a battle-rule or AAS thing?
sweedensniiperr wrote:What do you mean by this?
I meant a unique result.

Because after four hours of organized gaming, being a long time in regard to the potential screw ups that can happen, then a 1 ticket difference, is in fact quite unique.

One would suppose that one of the teams, made more screw ups than the other, increasing the ticket unbalance that more. After all, this was the fourth battle if I recall correct, thus the two opposing tournament teams could not be expected to be perfectly in shape at that time, but perhaps they were?

Quite disciplined to get to that result after 4 hours.

MRF expected rush on train station, or troops near it. Militia quickly caps their flag, and their next is Train to cap. We made sure we dont have anyone south and east from the flag, sweeping the area, and waiting for assault. PDI showed to be pretty aggressive taking in account previous battles.

That make sense. Well executed too, just look at 16:46.
