Hello,

I'm an old player returning after about half a decade away. Today after installing the game, I fancied having a Co-op game with my girlfriend with a load of bots.

I have good memories of playing with 120> bots at a time, and that was back when PCs were less powerful! At the time I used to have a personalized custom behaviour/difficulty tweak to make the bots better too. I was thinking of remaking it.

However I found that, no matter what changes I make to the ai/aidefault file, the Profiles/profilexxx/ServerSettings file, or even the in-game menus, the number of bots remains at a constant 16 per side.

I've read all the topics on the issue, but very few are recent, and none of the solutions make a difference.

Does anyone have any idea why the number of bots seems to be constant no matter what?

Any help much appreciated.

OK got it to work. This is essentially what I did last time, so not sure what went wrong.

Tested a bunch of game sizes. However it seems to crash for every value above 110. But 110 is good enough

Might have an AI tweak up in the next few weeks/month to make the Infantry and Armor AI tougher.

I'm looking forward to this tweak of yours!

I am trying to get all bots on team2, but can get them only on team1... I don't want bots on team1, have you figured out how to do it yet? btw I can go fine with up to 200 bots, after that, it gets very laggy...
