Do we have any sound mods working on PR v1.4.2 ?
PR's gun sounds are not really sound like in real, can we change it ? :confused: :confused: :confused: :o ops: :o ops: :o ops:

Get a shitload of professional recording equipment, a nice and expensive studio, then call some numbers to get all the weapons and start recording. If it's substantially better than the current sounds I'm sude the DEVs would go through the process of implementing them.

What do you mean? They sound very close to real life. Anders has done an excellent job with all his sound mods, especially PRs.

It's not passive aggressive bitchiness, it is the way PR was made. You want something in the game, you make it. All of the DEVs are volunteers here and you can only suggest things that they could make. If someone is interested to make it, then fine, if not, you can't force anyone to do it other than yourself.

Those who say the sounds are actually good/realistic seems like they never heard a gun before.

I hope one day someone is dedicated to create a sound mod for the weapons, Because the recent ones we have now sound like old toys.. even the BF2 default ones.. some guns sounds better.

There was some modifications you could do to OpenAL and HRTF stuff that worked a year ago. Don't know if it still works.

I live a stone's throw from MOD land in Bovington and the armour here practice on a daily basis. The heavy armour sounds in PR are very good.

Because the british vehicles were actually recorded at an army base.

Yea friend, pretty realistic.

We just arguing about the sounds of infantry weapons. Project Reality Ambient, Armour, Explosion, Blast, Burst, Steps, Water etc.. everything is ok.

It's just the weapons.

true , especially gunshots. they sound different depending on where they are fired, Urban area or open fields.
the distant sound of different bullets and explosions. note some explosions in pr sounds realistic .
a quick example is when you fire an AK in urban area it sounds more like an explosion than an actual bullet
But after all PR sounds are not bad yet not great. i dont think anyone will waste time to do this i hope to be wrong though.
