So i know how to take off with harrier from aircraft carrier easy beasy but the landing i just cant figure it out should i like hover over it and land or what because landing like other planes aint gonna work because the runway is so short and like in real life it doesnt have break that saves the plane from going to sea
Can someone pls explain in steps how do you do it because i would really like to learn it

I saw this kind of a tip: Altitude 200, then press S until you enter the vertical take-off mode and then gently tap S until you land.
Yeah, they use big "rubber bands" and hooks to stop the jet when they land on carriers irl.

The best way to land is actually in the "fighter mode"
You do that by going to the back of the carrier, and slowly losing speed as you approach the carrier...
try to stay at 200 (whatever speed unit) when you are at 100m from the carrier, and simply cut the throttle.
When you are on the carrier start pushing S, you will start to ascend, and at every point you start ascending, just cut the acceleration
you are probably going to stop a little bit on the front of the bridge structure or at the side of the bridge structure.

Harriers are a bit screwed up right now when it comes to landing, hopefully they will be fixed soon.
But basically you need to hold S to come into a hover and you want to start this, from full forward speed, from around 3km away from the carrier (just as it comes into view on the Falklands) and if the nose begins to pitch downwards, push forward on your stick to correct (inverted controls at the moment, bit of a bug...), until you come into a normal hover then its non-inverted controls, and easy off reverse thrust to descend.

Your thinking of CATOBAR, Harriers are STOVL and land vertically in r/l, which is the whole point of them:

i know this video is legit .
But somehow becouse of the stable camera and the stable carrier on a background of moving water looks like some kind of edited video that gives 3D feel
