I have a quick question about the installation. The installation guide is over 5 years old which is why I am posting.

I remember reading that PR is now standalone and I dont need to install my old BF2 cds. But in the installation guide it doesnt mention this.

That being said, can someone clarify the installation process for me.

I havent played in a long time and am excited to get back in the chair, PR is still going and I miss the teamwork and gameplay. There really is nothing like it.

hum, there is a new guide, somewhere, but you still can read the manual:

Installation guide is up to date.

In short the only thing you need is the PRBF2 v1.4.1.0 full client from the download page. If you have Win10, just run and install, if you have Win7, you'll need some third party software to mount the .iso as a virtual disk and run the installer within.

But yeah check out the guide, the post is old, the contents are fresh.

You can just open the .iso with 7zip or similar. No need to go the virtual drive route.
