Just curious is there a reason why most helicopters don't allow passengers to have their weapons out? To my knowledge only the little bird is left that still allows them to. So why not the others?

Imo it should be like that on every vehicle.

Ye, basically players use to use HAT, handheld AA etc from them, which in r/l isn't possible due to the black blast, would kill anyone inside the chopper and probably significantly damage the chopper too, which we can't simulate ingame, as well as players tossing C4 out the side of the choppers and just crappy things like that

If we could limit it to only normal rifles etc being able to be used, or at least have the r/l negative points of using a HAT etc (but that would be pretty crappy for the guys who didn't shoot the missile) then we would have it, but we can't

at first i thought this is a "why isnt there more than 8 seats" kind of topics.

now on topic. why the little bird as mentioned is left ? not smooth enough to perform HAT sniping ?

Little Bird is the best vehicle in the game for it.

C4 bombing runs on cache locations, the good old days. I honestly think door gunners are more than enough, especially in some of the more common trans-choppers (CAS Cow is still a thing).
