PR Singleplayer

Alright, so I got PR and I'm wondering if there is ANY way possible that I could make the bots in Co-Op smarter. I got a mod for Battlefield 2 from ModDB but I don't really know how to install it to where it works in project reality. I do not have the original BF2. Just PR Standalone. Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

If you want smarter bots, that also communicates, just join a deployment server :) .

Bringing the thread back on track, the main objective you should have is to edit maps and levels to ensure a sort of forced approach to combat or objectives. Perhaps you could create a singleplayer experience.

The mod most likely wouldn't work.

Go to mods\pr\ai and look for aibehaviours.ai, make a copy incase something goes wrong, then play with the "Construct Standard Weights" numbers. I don't know why "Construct Unit Weights" is on 1.0, maybe obsolete, idk.

Play with it and see changes, try setting all numbers in the Standard to 0.5 (except Idle) and on another try, set everything to 10.0 (except Idle).

Not sure if you need a duplicate PR folder though, to avoid the filecheck.

This should be in the coop/sp forum ? Anyway BF2 bots were the smartest bots for their time. Every one of them even has their own rudimentary memory and they can do almost anything on the battlefield. But they aren't "smart" like being able to take cover or flank you. That would need another iteration of BF bots by DICE. That may even happen after they added bot support for some maps in Star Wars: Battlefront (same engine as BF series).
