so i done some testing with the new option to turn LOD off and here is the result
LOD on
khami SW side looking to north
24/20 fps ram usage 66%
alkhadir gas station looking to the north 16/16.5 fps ram u 68%

all this done with 800/600 60hrz Res everything on low expect effect on high shadow and ligh turn off and no AA and viewdistance 100%
my spec
dual core 3.0 e5700
RAM 4gb but in 32bit so 3.5
no graphic card or i say the one that come with the mother board wich is useless
intel g41 express chipset

Tested on Muttrah, local server.

Setting unchecked (default), driving along the beach from MEC main up to the north it gave me 80 fps looking at the fort wall when i drove by and then 35-38 fps when on the coast.

Setting checked, same scenario, looking at the wall gave me 70 fps while in the city it was 25 fps. Safe to say a 10 fps drop or 35% decrease where it matters. However it was more constant as it didn't need to load on the go.

I usually had 30-50 fps before. Now i have 45-60 on all maps. Might benchmark when I got the time.

Testing in Fallujah Co-op
LODs option selected: ~33 fps
LODs option unselected (Defualt) ~35fps.
Graphics Settings: all high

Overall dont feel too much of a difference. LODs option selected seems to be a tiny bit more choppy/stuttery at times. Also did notice GPU temp/usage/vram usage is higher.

System:
y510p laptop with i7-4700mq / GT 750m 2gb vram / 8gb ram
