When spawning the camera kit by all three methods of spawning - rcon camera, rcon spawner pickup_camera and making a spawner on the map, it does not allow you to keep it and kills you.

When onefaction is enabled it is ofcourse useable.

I was also listed under the spectator mode, so that is covered.

No you covered exactly why this is not a bug. It's for debug purposes.
