Well, I'm looking to get a new case, so my rat nest can look 'somewhat' neater. (Ok, it's not that bad, but most PC Gamers would have a heart attack if they saw it.)

I have a micro-ATX motherboard, non-modular PSU, 1 2.5" SSD, 1 3.5" HDD, and a Gigabyte Windforce GTX 1060 6gb. I am asking under $50, as I don't really want to spend much.

I just need space, and more space. Prefer one with No top fans, and no side fans. (A see through side would be fine, but I don't really prefer it, not necessary.) I ask for no side fans and no top fans, as I believe dust would accumulate a lot more.

I'm currently running a xion-310 black case... For the price I paid, I wouldn't expect better.

Certainly will consider this. However, are there like covers for the top vents? So dust doesn't get in the system when I am not using it?

@Rabbit, I think I'll decline. I like the case, but I don't like having that much ventelation. Especially on the bottom, I feel that will make my PC a dust bunny.

For sure will be under $50

I discovered 19" (width) rackmount cases recently, although more for servers there ideal in terms of space and portability.
1U height racks only accept 45mm (height) FLEX-ATX PSUs. ('i.e. "shuttle" brand, plenty of those on 2nd hand market)
1.5U height racks only accept 'newer' 65mm SFX PSUs. These are more suitable for meatier gaming builds but I've only ever seen one 1.5U case.

In terms of extrusion backwards/depth, 8" is ideal but are rare (see pic). 10" deep are more common, with 12"+ ones being the most common. The List below are mostly 10", a good balance.



For context, the Playstation 4 is 4.5Litre (with 250W power supply built in!).

With regret I previously bought a 15L case, a Silverstone ML03, with the notion 'small', but lol compared to the rackmounts, its huge and not portable at all. The reason I got it (probably) was that it accepted full size PSU and CD drive, but these are largely redundant; Looks ok, but a waste of money today.
