1.4.6 Undefusable mines

Description :
Mines cannot be defused yet they kill vehicles

Steps to reproduce: ???? Some mines are defusable some are not.

Thanks for the bug report.

Issue is already known, but when defusing the mine, it is technically defusing but it's not playing the animation or showing the repair icon. It does work normally for some though. Will try to look into it.

On this round, the enemy engineer drop around 6 or 8 mines at the same time, maybe be a way to look at.

Fixed hopefully for next version. The hud issue sometimes happens for some reason, but I'll have another look.

If it helps, I think the players who placed the mines left the server, might cause it.

Well I don't know if this is related to this or if this is even fixable. But if you join midround you cannot see already placed mines before you entered the server.

That's a known bug with bf2 unfortunately. It might be fixable, but it will take some time.

Make a mine manager periodically delete all mines and respawn new ones in their places. Wouldn't that allow new players joining in to see them?
