Hey, just come back to PR after a few years but im having trouble updating to the latest version, basically 'm having the exact same problem as this guy https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f26-pr ... dating.htm
(assuming his deleted picture said "unable to validate download file")

Only problem is, that guy turned out to be a hacker so the thread was locked and no solution was posted.

Please can someone help me with this?

Edit: just realised that link doesn't want to work. Basically when i try to update on the launcher it just says unable to validate download file, currently reinstalling but i doubt that will fix anything.

You can't update to the latest version if your version is too old. Best to download the entire thing and try again.

Quick search in the support section with the error ID should have found the solution.
