Very interesting map, with great terrain and buildings variety, but I just dont get it why there's no ticket bleed. ARF get forward spawn at the first french flag, so they are supposed to cap it, but they get nothing in reward. French forces can just slowly prepare the attack, build as many FOBs as they want, use mortars and etc. I think that it should be like in Kozelsk, where Militia is holding first flag while Russians are eager to cap it as fast as they can, while constantly bleeding tickets.
Also, I think that adding 1 spg car for ARF would be nice, cause they have only 2 techies compared to 4 french VABs.

I don't know if its map fault or RC-10, but when you are inside RC-10 you cant stay still inside forests. Your vehicle is just sliding from the little hills even if the slope is really small. Also uniforms of French are too visible for me, they are bright as f...k.
But overall map is pretty fun to play

Woodland vehicles would be nice considering thats what the french rolled through mali with. Also the brown dirt rather than white sand would look better for fobs and emplacements.
Map has no base protection, on top of that you can see the helicopter outside of the no go, so its easy picking for ARF.
Caches like the one that spawns at F10K7 are just bad and not fun to defend at all.
Undergrowth fades in and out pretty poorly.
XP static has an anchor lower than the door so they all need manually lowered.
Map feels like its missing details in a few key spots, large open areas along the runway for example make it a nightmare for inf, more crates and such would really help.
Overall I like it, just needs that mcdonalds mulan szechuan sauce.

Having only played the INS version and mostly moved around the villages, forested areas and fields north of Airfield, I still have to say I love the way this map feels and plays. Varied landscape with good, rather slow-paced gameplay, a relatively flat map but still with lots of cover, concealment and hiding spots available. Firefights were great too. I'm not in love with the Baobab tree (or whatever it is!) model which is also on Xianshan, but it doesn't bother me too much. Well done PR team.

AAS terrible with Mansion flag.
French can just camp in dod and the edges of the map with fobs and scope at mansion and dont even have to cap it.
+ no area attack on either side so it just gets stuck on ARF getting killed
Just finished round 322-0 to French
INS is good though

yeah the aas standard with mansion flag is not that fun french are push at dod limit most of the time that i played that layout, i prefer the alt layout in terms we fight more over different area of the map

Insurgency ALT layout with CAS heli could be interesting. There's plenty of AAA emplacements on the map.
