Jet does not brake while on ground: details below in steps to reproduce.

Steps to Reproduce:
Currently land an a10 at about 900 so gear does not deploy. But when on the ground your gear will deploy. At this point you will bounce into the air at 900 then instantly stick to the ground. But at this point you have no breaking action and the jet acts like it is in the air still. So when you pull up you stick to the ground but you will nose up and the jet still acts like it is airborne. You do not have braking action while in this mode so the jet does not slow down. so you can pull up and nose up and it will act like it is in the air.

Bamyan; any map with a10

not needed map modes or anything, recreateable with any jet on any map.


i would have rather did a pm to the dev that handles this directly so to not cause a problem. But r-dev in game were not that nice and didn't help out with intel. So now i make it a public stink on new flight model sucking as it does.

You shouldn't be landing at 900 in any jet, Landing speed is 700-800. The A10 you have to be sub 600 AFAIK.

This is the purpose to create a bug. And is repeatable. At the moment i can't test it but in the following week i will test it for you. Also a10 should drop gear at 860 or so. i will have to test it further. But sense FFG is so kind to comment, he obviously didn't read the post. It's just something i noticed and wanted to post about. Somehow the asset still thinks it's in the air when gear is deployed while on the ground. Although it's probably far beyond me in what needs to be done, and may be impossible. I still want to let this small thing be noted.
