I would like an "OFFICIAL" "DEV" definition of the word "exploit"?

Do not want "general public" definition.

Glitching to build 3 mortars is exploiting, yes.

Definition, not example.

If you have to ask, it's probably an exploit.

You just want a definition so you can exploit the definition. Also, as far as what is an exploit and what isn't. It comes down to the admins of the servers as to what an exploit is in their eyes. Back in the day, some servers allowed c4 prepping, others didn't. Best to ask the admins as to what your doing is an exploit.

And yes, 3 mortar pits is exploiting. It was removed for a reason.

I am being very serious here. What is the official definition of "exploit"?

It's not about what I think it is or what examples of it are. Enforcement of rules and the definition of the said rules are up to the server and server admins. So FFG, it is not me exploiting the definition of exploit. I can give a full page of examples of what I think exploits are that are perfectly fine with 90% of the admins I know on the servers I play on. I have found that the definition is definitely swayed by what is happening at the specific time of said supposed exploit and who gets pissed off by it. Rules are only made in much the same way coal miner laws are made, over the dead bodies of the coal miners.

Same as its real definition:

expolit: to make use of (a situation) in a way considered unfair or underhand.

As I said earlier, it is up to the server and the server admins how they enforce rules.

In response to the 3 mortar thing, one "exploit/glitch" used all the time on all servers is when one crewman is killed, the armor continues firing and engaging enemy until a replacement crewman comes back. The armor, by design, is not to be operated by one crewman, so please spare me the rhetoric that is very hypocritical.
