So why is Russian equipment so dated?
While devs added Fennek,LAV,VBCI etc..
Russians still have mtlb,btr80(btr60 on some maps like Dovre and new Route).
Russians dont even have proper HAT.Devs have 2 Russian made HATS to choose from like Metis,Kornet,Konkurs.
Fuck that,they dont even give btr80 thermals while it states that they have OU-3GA2M infra-red search light.Even the mtlb has it.
Now im not asking for new apc and shitty armata thing.Im only like asking for btr82a,brdm2m,proper HAT.
Might as well remove Russian faction and name it Soviet Union or USSR...

does not equal thermals. PR does not use infra-red search lights or many other vehicles would have them.

The thermal radiation and the infrared radiation are the same thing if the sources of the radiation have temperatures comparable to the room temperature. For ordinary cold and lukewarm objects, the thermal radiation is mostly emitted in the infrared.
Just change the colors or somthing...

LAV is vbf2 asset, we did not added it. Rest of stuff were made by someone who worked on them

We dont have either metis, kornet, or konkurs models available neither those are handheld launchers.

So do as a sun light being electromagnetic radiation in visible spectrum, same thing
OU-3GA2M is just a light-bulb with infra-red filter, and being used when there's not enough light even for night-vision sights.
Noone in combat will use those as they immediately showing up your position.

but if you really want new stuff you make it and share it with the game, you can help everyone including yourself out man

US still uses humvee when they're supposed to use MRAP,

M4's and 249's when they're supposed to use 4A1's and M27's
and even the drivers on most vheicles don't have thermals anymore! but that's fine

If you want new stuff you should really get max 9 and learn how to mod. Good news is that I made a new russian scope model and that we are working on getting it in game.

I find equipment used by Russian in PR pretty accurate, Russian military is not that modern, plus i find it even inaccurate that regular Russian infantry uses scopes on rifles, and the fact that they use T-90 on all maps, while Russian army only has 200 T-90s and tens of thousands of different model tanks.

Most of those tanks are in reserve. They use T-90 and T-72B3(T-90 standard). T-80 is mostly not used because engine,T-64 is not used because lack of spair parts and T-62 and T-55 are not even consider to be used. So PR is accurate whit this.

Like it or not, Russian faction in game probably has around 80% assets useb by Russia IRL(which is probably biggest % in game).

Russia mostly use those vehicles. For istance MTLB is primary apc of artic brigades. If we really need we could possibls get MTLB logistic which is used(like M113 logistic from IDF). I think there is not really big work to make those(we have model,we just need to programe it).

I dont know why you think Russia doesnt have proper HAT. I actually found RUS HAT as best in game IMO. Konkurs,Metis or Kornet cant be used for HAT. Only other AT rocket in use RPG-28.

Only big diffrence betwean BTR-80 and BTR-82 is new engine. So in game only diffrence betwean those two would be a bit faster BTR-82... It could be done because its just need to program better speed.
BRDM-2M is i think same story
Again Russia doeynt have somethig like Eryx or Matador so RPG-7 is best whot Russian IRL has(again maybe RPG-28but I think RPG-7 is more used.
I would like to see BMPT in game for RUS(also for MEC).

Wasn't the BMP-T rejected by the russian armed forces?
