I've had issues both on khami and kashan where when landing the F-18 the same as any other jet it takes damage when touching down, which has caused me to die after smoking. I've also landed fine without any damage, so these weren't my best landings, but I havent had that issue in any other jets, and in my experience with other jets and other versions, these landings shouldn't have hurt. Anyone else had any issues or is its landing gear/setup different than other jets?

Actually it's other jets collision meshes were adjusted for easier landings as i never had problems with landing f-18. Will take a look on that again.

If you land below 700 you will start to smoke or start burning in the f18.
What has a problem is the a10 xd

Hmmm, chrisweb, which speed you're usually on when landing? Both khami and kashan runways long enough to land there 2 times, there's no need to be below 800 when approaching.
Just for example did run on CF18, no sweat.
