Nvidia inspector should work. Make sure you add prbf2.exe to the application list, set "Anti-Aliasing - Behavior Flags" to "None" and set "Anti-Aliasing - Mode" to "Override any application setting". Then just set your anti-aliasing setting and presto, should work in-game.

Inspector settings are correct. Make sure the in-game anti-aliasing is turned all the way off, or the driver forced AA won't work. Make sure you do it for all profiles if you have more than one.

I actually had that problem with Nvidia last year but I really don't remember how I fixed it. I think I just messed with the Nvidia control panel settings. Try resetting all the Nvidia stuff to default?

Use Sweetfx aka Reshade, it has post FXAA and SMAA. It can also add Lumasharpen which decreases the washed out look of the textures. https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f10-pr-bf2-general-discussion/118973-pr-graphic-enhancement-mod.html

Found the solution. I had the exact same problem after updating to the Windows 10 Fall Creators update, apparently it messes up how full screen DX9 games are treated in some way.

The solution is to set the "Antialiasing compatibility" to "0x004412C1 (Diablo III)" instead of the default for Battlefield 2. Voila, driver-forced AA is back in business.

I've had the similar problem before. I fixed it by select "Enhance the application setting"

Like this.

My OS is Windows 10 Pro 17025 insider preview version and the GPU is 1060 6GB

This does not seem to work atm anymore? Any specific inspector version required for it to work? Currently on 2.3.0.13. I also already disabled fullscreen optimization on the executable.

I had issues recently too, I reset all my nvidia settings and just set 8x anti-aliasing in nvidia control panel, it creates a seperate profile for PR that isn't based on the BF2 profile, then you can edit that profile in inspector.

Just make sure that in-game anti-aliasing is off, and that you are not using the nvidia "sharpness" slider, because that will cause issues with AA.

I'm using Win11 and a new-ish version of nvidia inspector.
