Hey, guys. I've just started learning Gmax, and I've started making an MP5 SD. So, what do you think? It's a WIP, mind!
Remember, I'm still learning! Any tips/suggestions?
EDIT: Updated picture so that is shows what may be the finished version.

I can't give you any advanced comments hehe... Don't know anything about modeling.
But talking just as a player, I'd say it's good so far.
This would do a nice spec-ops weapon for urban and CQB scenarios.
Btw, if you really started Gmax from point zero, please if you have any tutorial link send it to me

Try Googleing "Gmax tutorial", or go to their website and download tutorials from there.

Wow, KP. Pretty good so far. I'd just make the suppressor a bit longer.

Haha, yeah, can't live without some music while working.

I've got some good reference pictures (thanks to Bob_Marley for the ones I use the most!), and I've made sure that it matches, so no need to do that. It's just the angle that makes it seem shorter. It's actually quite long.

Yeah, all you need now is the rear sight assembly, a more shaped heatshield, and a skin and texture.

Do you just have Superfreak on repeat or something?

And a cocking handle, apparently. Just noticed that...

Okay, nearly there now... Added cocking handle, new pistol grip, rear sight assembly and some more details.
Now, I just have to wrap up some more details, skin and texture the thing, and it's finished.

Nice model! I'm in the process of learning 3ds, and i can't imagine of making something like this for a while, only the rear sight looks a bit tell, maybe beef it up and shorten it a little?

ooh navy triger group i would take it off safe if i were you
i prefer the S E F triger group (found on models up to the A3 being the last one with it) as it is easier to read with you thumb
