Demolish radius?

Just had a weird experience on fallujah where I demolished my own fob, and the fob i meant to demolish in one go. I right clicked on the fob 200m away from me and took it down, this also killed the one no where near where I clicked. Has that every happened to anyone else, and is there a set radius for the demolish? It sucks trying to kill just the mortars or an abandoned fob, but killing everything.
