how about fastroping from black hawks?
i asked this in the other Mods's Forum but they said we can't implant it so this is the only last mod in my list to say about this

BF2 actually had this feature but they scrapped it because it didn't improve the gameplay the way they wanted to.

No it means EA saw a way it could make them some extra money and decided to take it out of BF2 modify it a bit and throw it right on back in the new expansion. Zip lines are just man portable fast ropes on an angle. I'm not sure if PR will be able to mod it in(if EA ever releases the MOD tools).

How many more fast roping threads do we need?

Agreed, I remember when everyone was talking about that screenshot showing fast roping, bascially every forum had topics on it, and everyone wanted it!!!

LMAO at that. i think that topic would go so far, the devs would have no option but to put it in the game. Fast Raping, LMAO , i know its not funny irl btw!1!!1!!1!

Thing is from a reality perspective fast roping / grapling hooks would replace what parashoots are used for in BF2 currently which is not very realistic.
Lets just jump of a 30 foot roof and pop out another one of our infinate no tangle shoots...

Instead we could sling a graling hook on the edge and jump over

Once again, Agreed, without parashoots being in PR for no one but pilots, we need a quick effective way to touch down, even though we can land and bail, landing in streets or other cramped areas is a huge risk because you're an easy target, second of all theres a chance of getting hung up on something and crashing, and for trying to deploy guys in small, cramped areas such as streets, woods, etc. You CANT get low enough to safely deploy your men, fast roping would enable you to deploy guys in less noticable areas(woods, etc.) And for all of us SPECIAL FORCES fans, that's a god sent.

On terms of fast insertions, fast roping isn't too good for that. You have to stabalize the helo... drop ropes, every one goes one at a time. Landing is most practical, but ropes can go places(forests, city streets) that the whole helo can't. Hence the usefull ness.

The expansion should be called BF2: Ninjas, not Special Forces

Just think of the special forces as modern ninjas.

What are you talking about, fast roping is used for quick insertions, and it can be done in seconds, havent you ever seen video of SEALs, etc. doing fastroping, they can have a team of 6 or so on the ground in seconds, plus with PR making helicopter physics more realistic, if you land, it's gonna take awhile to regain enough downward force to lift off, leaving you open to enemy fire.

Remove the ability for choppers to cap flags and you really need it...
