Why you made Russian AA rockets (in Russian jets) in Nato reporting names? Why you don't replace them with R-27 (A-10) and R-73 (A-11)? Also Kh-25 (AS-10)?

Its been agreed back in time that we're gonna stick with nato names for consistency.
However i still cant tell the diffirences between all those AA\SA\etc while russian indices feeling more natural for me.

Obviously, incase of change we're facing a problem with chinese stuff that's need to be checked aswell

In my personal humble opinion, in terms of weapons like rockets, I guess it makes more sense to use local names, it'll add authenticity. Cuz it would be weird to fly russian plane and see on HUD English words and abbreviations, those would be alien and out of place.




But again, this game is mostly for english speaking people, so it's only logical to use all Nato.

I played arma 2 and i saw that names (of course) on english and I became comfused what is that in su-25 hud (totally diffrent). I meant just do rename them (not russian cyrilic, use eng alphabet) to their true names. Thats all

Editing the huds for this is easy enough, maybe you could do it?
Also while we at it, someone should redo BTR-80 hud, the numbers in there look like someone drew them with mouse in MS Paint

I could most likely recreate it in Photoshop, just need a 1080p screenshots or better would be a 4k ones.

Any help, I mean what I need to do for one Jet and I'll fix and others. Is it just editing notes or something else...

HUD, play around with values: Also need to update vehicle tweak: Edit weapon hudnames for firearms.
For consistency you could edit objectnames for missiles aswell(like as-10), but that goes beyond just modifying hudnames

Dont forget to create thread in modding forums with your progress, so you could get feedback.

You only need to edit the HudElements stuff. We dont use the weaponHud.weaponName

Please also real russian names for aircraft and other vehicles, no NATO names anymore!
