Since the recent PERF BETA version I've had numerous issues when tabbing in and out of PR.
Tabbing out to Windows from PR leaves me with a frozen screen for 1 second until I'm in Windows and another 3 seconds with the gamesounds from PR, and after those last 3 seconds my mouse cursor jumps down to the taskbar and the icon for running PR. This last bit about the jump of my cursor is very annoying when trying to make a quick tab-out and fix something.
Tabbing into PR from windows takes 3 seconds to have the game up and working.

These issues are new since the PERF BETA, alt-tabbing both in and out used to be nearly instant and snappy.

And every now and then I also get another issue when tabbing into PR from Windows, the game refuses to accept my keyboard inputs. In order to fix this I have to tab in and out a couple times to fix it. Also never had this issue before with PR.

Seems to be some changes to how Windows 10 handles or runs Project Reality.

Is there anyone else whos also experiencing anything similar?

Do you have a Nvidia GPU and if so did you recently update your drivers?

Yes on both.

I've had the same issue and had to revert to one of the march versions, no idea what's causing it but in one of the versions that came out on May caused this.

Hope reverting to an earlier version helps.

This also happened to me, I also updated to the latest drivers. This also happened to another game (Ironsight) so the only fix is to revert to older drivers.

Oh well, damn you Nvidia!

Thanks for posting the answer to this. Guess I'll stay on old drivers until they fix this.

Try it with different anti-aliasing settings just incase.

I am using AMD and i am getting the same problem... I blame mr. gates (Ruindows 10) (Ruin = bad in portuguese)

I just reverted back to nvidia drivers from January, way before this issue started occurring, and im still having them. Also tried playing without anti aliasing as opposed to the 4x i normally use but no difference there.
