Upon respawning I immediately died with message to select different kit.

This happened to me as well on Karbala INS. I teamswitched to Poland and then did the equivalent on the Polish side, rifleman (not in a squad) and died.

Parch, did it happen right after teamswitching or something?

Hey Suchar, I was placed on insurgent side when I joined. I did attempt to switch, but the balance would not let me, so I decided to play as ins and then story from my vid happened.

Also happened to me. l reckon it has something to with swithching team and this happens, only solution for me is to restart the game

I did see this happening once to the entire server when l was a noobie. Just came out of playing Vadso and we started playing La Drang. Our entire team kept spawning and dying non stop they had to send the server down xD

Happened to me couple of times. Solution is trying switch to other team then back to yours. After this you need to take alt kit or just different kit. Sometimes that works sometimes not.
