Hello everyone.

I'm sure some of you, that are around for a long time as well, know that from time to time there are trolls on this game, just like in every other game. Especially since it is free. However, after 10 years of playing this game, this is the first time that I get the feeling, this person is very penetrant of doing so. Not only on a regular front of teamkilling, or asset wasting, but doing so intentionally, repeatedly, and systematically to empty servers when no admins are online OR even more vicious, exploiting certain bugs with the VOIP system (not going into details here), to spam full servers while they can't effectively manipulate the game while the admins are online. This goes as far as using mumble usernames that are representing links to hacks (happened today). Evading bans, using hacks and repeating the trolling is just the cherry on top of what's happening.

I'm posting this because I am playing this game for a very long time, and this thread doesn't come from some spontaneous feeling, it is something I see for a period of time already. Other players have seen this issue coming up, as well. With reappearing accusations to certain user names on who's fault it is and who's it isn't. I really couldn't care less about this topic on who's fault it is.

Please share your thoughts.

I've been around this community for ages, I can tell you definately what is true and what isn't.

The only thing that can be done is to report them and hopefully get them banned before they do much damage.

Another thought is to declare a "troll alert" and both sides just gang up on the one guy until he quits the server? Once he quits, everyone goes back to more or less where they were and the round is restarted?

Woww they again? FFS l tought we finally got rid of them and the ones that were joining were just some random trollers once in a while

Couple of people who have nothing better to do with their lives than troll on a 10+ year old game, it's pathetic really.

Maybe you should stop giving them so much attention. As long as you keep openly hating on them, they will surely keep going.

Report them in-game, mute them on your mumble client if needed, but don't pay any more attention to their actions. Otherwise, they win.

I couldn't hate less, I think of it like mectus already stated, it's just pathetic and a very destructive, negative form of entertainment. I'm collecting opinions on the issue to spread awareness in the development part of the community. It definately IS an issue and won't "just go away". I do not think this is a problematic way of approaching this.

There are a few things that could be changed to better the issue, of course a very big portion of the solution will be the community itself and the server owners that regularly have the most populated servers.

Ban evading after getting caught cheating is a good way to never get accepted into the community again. Especially bragging about it.

Not everyone has the luxuries weed-killer, chav etc. have. For some folks ban evading is the only option.
Unless you can show me where the application form for cheaters is that want to be rehabilitated into the community?

just join prta and you wont have problems anymore

While I honestly could care less about this, I'm curious as to what name Weed-Killer is currently playing under. I haven't seen his name for a long while, nor have I come across him ingame. Care to spill the beans?
