is the german kar98 going to be a gun you need to hit to times or one to get a kill

since the americans got the the m1 garand there work on semi auto

The ARF is fighting against French and US Army, which both have heavy body armor. Hence 2 shots to kill.

It is not going to change.
The thing is, ARF fights modern US which has armor (aka bulletproof vest) and that's why mosin needs 2 shots to kill. WW2 factions have no armor so they are '1 shot - 1 kill' for bolt-action rifles.

Eggs dee, I didn't even realise that you had posted before me.

It sucks to land shots as ARF only to have the enemy turn and burst you down while you cycle to your next round... I really wish the mosin\enfield would do a touch more damage. This would force players to bandage or bleed out if they want to return fire hoping to trade kills.

I think I've read somewhere that shooting the legs e.g. would result in a 1 shot kill because those are not armored. Can anyone confirm that?

I thought there was also distinction between light body armour (militia) and heavy armour (modern armies). Might be my alcoholic halucination though.

K98 still kills you with one shot , and should be.
