Loading times of over an hour on a SSD

The title pretty much says it. I have PR installed on my 500GB SSD and it's loading times are gigantic, over a hour long.
My specs are;
i7 4770k @ 3.5 gHz
GTX 1060 6GB, latest drivers
16 GB RAM
HDD is a WD Blue 1 TB, not sure what the RPM is. Online says 7200 RPM. My OS is installed on my HDD.
My SSD is a a Samsung 860 EVO, 500 GB. I've played 3 other games on this SSD, namely GTA V, FH4 and Insurgency Sandstorm before I uninstalled that broken POS. ALL the games loaded fine, maybe slightly slower than expected, but not HOURS.
Windows 10 is my OS
Graphics settings are set to Medium.
There is no reasonable explanation for this, outside of maybe that I have a HDD as my primary drive while my SSD is for games.
Anyone know how to fix this, without nuking the graphivs?
