If we blog or highlight stuff that are meant for patches after v1.6, people would be a bit sad they are not in 1.6 when it is out. And we are all about only good emotions on patch release day.

Its pretty much tradition to not only do that but do a highlight and never actually release said thing.

Highlighting and previewing coming features can be as effective as releasing said features when it comes to keeping your player base interested, even if said features do not come with the next patch.

I dont remember a big shitstorm when Musa Qala wasnt in the last patch.
