I've perused the forums for possible solutions to this problem but each of the other errors people were getting while running the game in windowed mode were different from mine

I overclocked the display to 90hz.

But yeah, changing it down to 60 in the launcher options seems to have worked, thanks!

It should work with 90hz if the graphics driver reports it, don't have issues with 144
