This is not strictly a "bug" I expect a fix for, I'm more along the lines of looking for a workaround I can do locally.

Trying to watch any pre 1.6.1 br files after the patch crashes pr with the following error:


Any guess if there is a way to get around this without reinstalling a 1.6.0 PR version?

No workaround. You'll need to install the version the demo belongs to. Specially in these hotfix periods where we have many big changes and refactors currently it's very likely old demos won't work on newer versions which each patch.
