At tacticalgamer.com, we had several PR crashes tonight, with one apparently requiring a hard reset of the server. I was there for the first two that occurred in the Airfield map (sry can't remember the name - it's first alphabetically out of all the maps). After each crash, the maplist was wiped and the profile set back to regular bf2 (not pr).

Asch mentioned that it might have something to do with a know bug re: an MEC/OPFOR person getting in a US/British vehicle, I believe. I also briefly caught someone on the PR dev team mentioning (in general chat) a serverside bug that will be corrected shortly. Any idea what this issue could be? Have any other server admins had similar issues with random crashes?

We know of 1 cause of server crashes and it is as Asch said, related to getting into opfor vehicles (there's just one vehicle that we are aware of causing this).

We're making a list of identified issues and will determine a course of action over the next couple of days. We don't want to do a patch, then another patch.. then..... etc, etc, so we want to be sure we capture every major issue and fix them up in a single update.

Beatkik - check your server console screen next time you're locked up. There might be a pop-up preventing Bf2cc from restarting your process.
