Updated WW2 kits

Hello, i got request for updating WW2 kits to make LAT/HAT kits easier to recognize. So here is current progress:

Textures are already done, skinning is in progress and 50% of german kits are ready for testing ( yes i am too lazy to separate kits by parts :p ). AT equipment placement is still subject to change so if you feel that it would be better to place it differently, feel free to tell it.

Looks nice. Can you show them from behind as well?

- For Bazooka we could use same kit geometry for both, but if its already done we can keep the variety :)
- I would make the Panzerfaust point upwards, so the warhead wont fall out.
- All weapons could have the quality reduced a bit. I think we always have some lower poly versions on the back.
- The Bazooka actually has attachments for a carrying strip modelled, would be awesome to use that

Rather see this done for Rhinos RPGs. But its easy to miss doing them considering these actually made it ingame but those didnt.

2) I tried this option

but there are some cons:
- warhead is locked on safety pin in folded position
- warhead is not just a conned ball like we have in PR
- since warhead is heaviest part of panzerfaust it will probably destabilize soldier on a run
- it looks weird

3) i did use geom1 lod1 for kits lod0 (except Panzershreck, it's too big).
4) where i can find it or you mean it would be great to model one? Because i didn't saw any belts for M1 or Panzershreck

P.S.
here are back views of the kits:

- geom1 lod1 should be fine for lod0 of kit.
- Dont think any strap got modeled for the Bazooka, but we do have them on other kits. Not sue if it would even fit on this as its so long. Maybe just for diagonal carrying

Looking good from the back too :)

German kits are exported and mostly tested (backpacks are the only question but if we don't mind little issue with panzerfaust it's totally fine):

As for american kits.... there are some problems:
1) they are all lod0 only
2) there is one not used geom or i haven't find what geom13 (with head bandage) for
3) And... this thing. Image
which is already turned into this:

So, i am doing lod1 for all kits (and fixing this specific medkit) and only then will start skinning

A big update:

1) Added straps for Bazooka and Panzershreck:

2) Added LOD 1 for every USA kit except drop kits

3) As many of you could notice, both faction kits are exported with most skinning adjusted.

USA:

4) updated german and US pilot and crewman kits (pistol holster for both and binoculars for crewman added)

P.S. Is it okay that 3p animations of soldier holding Walther P39 doesn't trigger bones responsible for shaking the equipment?

I'd still like to know why these didnt have proper kit geoms but made it in but not all the rpg's.

Nobody told me, but lods for US kits didn't change anything in most cases, there are few moments where i got win in 1400+ triangles while most geoms were 800 triangles for lod0. As for RPGs, no idea.

btw isn't panzershreck feels too big? According to it's sizes in real life it matches perfectly (1640 mm) but soldier himself is ~1700. I got an advice to scale it down a little bit, but then RPG on the back will differ from the one he is holding.

Well, the finish is near and i want some voting about what version of german HAT feels more... normal.

(don't mind white strap it exports normally and i have no idea what is going on)

Hard to say considering that isn't how they used to be slung.

Imagine panzershreck shield instead of bazooka rear end

because this is normal way to hold it:

Yeah I know, I'm not saying you need to fix it, I just don't know how it would look as their is really no reff. I would say lower one because the shield has so much weight on it but I don't know how that would look crouched.
