I don't usually look the pr fandom wiki because its outdated as hell however I looked around it and I noticed there is a "African Union" faction.

does or did this faction really exist? I cannot find any info on it elsewhere but the wiki.
I ALSO noticed that there was a map that you could supposedly play on it and its called "Drought"

pls tell me what is about this

I've been playing since 2012 and have never seen an African Union faction, and I don't think there ever was one before that. That wiki isn't official anyways, so take everything from it with a grain of salt.

I do believe there were some guys trying to make such a faction, but it never came out. The wiki also mentions the Finnish and Norwegian factions which also never came out.

Yes ive noticed that too. Hell, it even shows a map that supposedly existed for the faction, yet I have never seen or heard of it before

I think that's what eventually became the ARF, the African Resistance Fighters, featured on Ramiel (and perhaps other maps).

That wikia was pretty nice in the beginning would be nice to have a group of guys updating it indeed.

ARF and AU were all in the same design plan and going to be two separate factions.

As Rabbit points out AU were meant to be a more conventional, fictional African Army similar to MEC. I think one of main reasons it never went anywhere was a lack of African maps.

Wait, are you saying that we have all assets needed for implementation of this map in game, we just need maps?

If it still exists in the asset repo or the comm factions repo then yes.

Ok, that is interesting. Now question is, are there faction assets in repo for Devs or community to use?

I know you did, but a map doesn't matter if the faction wasnt backed up. PR has a history of losing stuff.
