How to overlap decal on BTR-80A ?

We have a minor issue on progres retexturing BTR-80A, the decal is bug on UV map. Is there any solution to fix this issue ? We've tried many ways to solve this issue but still cannot find a way to fix this uv map. If you have any solution on how to fix this Issue, we are welcome for any help.

The only solution for now is by putting the decals at the top of the hull right above the door hatch

That is just how UVs work I'm afraid.
You can try to use something like substance painter to paint by mesh.

could also bake the texture onto the side but that's a bit technical.

Yep projection bake it as a decal in max if you dont have substance.

We don't have any experience using max, but I think it can be handled using PS with some effort of course
