I have a key set to play next in my music player and the key will work in other games, but while in PR it reverts back to the original function.

Its the "calculator" key I have on my keyboard, I set it to play next, but when I'm in PR it just exits to the desktop and opens the calculator.

Anywhere else and it will just "play next" and not open the calculator.

This is because you shouldn't listen to music when playing PR.

Well, when I'm seeding, and building FOBs as the only active player on a server waiting for people to join, it is nice to be able still control my music player on my PC without having to minimize the game.

The PRLauncher does use DirectInput to react to button presses. Maybe this messes with your rebinding. Which software do you use to rebind the keys?

It is through whatever is with my microsoft key bored where you can customizes the extra keys. Press the star button and it brings up mocrosoft keyboard center.

While the Keyboard Center is only for MS keyboards, I could reproduce it using my keyboards rebinding. The issue does not seem to be related to PR or the Launcher, but instead both being run with admin privileges. When other windows running as admin have the focus, the rebinding also does not work. The only solution I found for this issue would be to run the rebinding software as admin as well. That might not be ideal, maybe you have more luck finding a better solution.
