Knife Reg?

ok the first knife attempt I miss wildly with the 1st couple of slashes but the last 2 should have landed.
The 2nd one looks like maybe I was too far away? has this distance been reduced because any other time I would have thought id have got away with that.
3rd one is just lol. 2 blood splatters coming from his head and he just gets up and runs off when Im killed
(edit) I only seemed to be having trouble knifing on this map so far, Mao and jabal have been fine anyway. is it the models?
