so i installed the game

waited for the update to finish

and the update just stopped
Error 1231: cannot apply update! unable to find the updater executable
please reinstall Project Reality:BF2
i looked at a small thread and used the launcher and it didn't work

can someone help me on that part

i tried to ignore it and play the game

and the game just closed on me

can someone , ANYONE HELP ME

i've been trying to look for threads , any piece of help

and i wanted to play this game since 2018 but i struggled to install it
i literally thought that i did something wrong or my Laptop (Windows 10) wasn't able to run it or something

yeah i do have PRUpdater

what do i do next ?

(also the previous attempts to run PR , the update didn't apply and when i tried to launch PR it told me about an error

i tried to se PRUpdater manually , no patches provided

i tried to combine it with PRLauncher

suffered a Command Line Argument Parsing error

i really don't know what to do here

add 800x600 to your GPU driver

If you experience this warning or the crash related to unknown DynamicOption value 800x600, it means that your graphics card (GPU) does not support the required resolution of 800x600 to start PR:BF2. While you may have set a different resolution in the options, BF2 still requires this resolution when it first starts up.

Several (mostly laptop) graphic drivers don't support 800x600 resolutions by default so you'll need to add it manually.

We recommend this tutorial on how to add it depending on your GPU brand:

IF you are unsure what your GPU is please perform the following steps:

- Click Start
- on the Start menu, click Run
- in the Open box, type dxdiag, and then click OK.
- The DirectX Diagnostic Tool opens. Click the Display tab, where information about your graphics card is shown in the Device section.
