I can launch the launcher but after logging in, when the game starts it justs closes on it's own. So the process just appears for a few seconds and then stops. There's no error window or something. The game itself runs fine but when I try to start the game through the launcher nothing happens at all and as you know I can't play online through PRBF2.exe.
Also, if I change language to Russian in launcher then launcher stops working until reinstalling. In this case launcher can run but if I press Options or Log In then I see classic error message "launcher has stopped working". But this isn't a problem, I can play on English just fine. Who knows maybe someone still can't play because of this problem and somebody knows how to fix it.

Also, when I try "fix compatibility issues" it turns on Windows Vista(Service Pack 2) compatibility mode and THEN launcher shows me an error 8 which is "Unable to find root BF2 Directory. Please reinstall Project Reality: BF2". This happens only if I use "fix compatibility issues" but if I change compatibility mode manually it does nothing at all just as without compatibility mode. It happens either with shortcut and .exe in the folder.
I don't have any antivirus software. I even don't update my Windows Defender since 2020.
