Tank MG-gunner teleporting

This happened today on Thors Brigade server. Map was EJOD desert.
We took northest tank from the US base. I was MG-gunner and had officer kit. Driver had crewman kit and gunner had some other kit but not crewman. We were all members of the same squad - I as a squad leader.
We drove the tank past the Gas Station on the road by the Ruins -flag. Driver stopped the tank to so that I could jump out. Instead getting out of the tank I was teleported back to the US base - same place where I entered the tank, 2m above the ground - after pressing E -button. The view changed to shaky 3rd person view. I wasn't dead, but I could neither see nor control my character.
Had to commit a suicide.
