4K maps and lack of tickets

Some asset heavy 4K Maps have way too few tickets, often resulting in an anticlimactic end of the round before anything has really been decided.

The biggest issue in my opinion is that if one team loses the initial asset encounter, and the other team doesn't manage to break the defense and take the flags, the rounds will often be over before the assets respawn for a possible counter-attack.

Bijar - 650 tickets should be increased slightly

Black Gold - STD and ALT only have 650 tickets while LRG has 950 tickets with essentially the same amount of assets

Hades peak - 650 tickets, I feel it should be increased slightly

Icebound - Only 500 tickets on a 4K map with a variety of assets, desperately needs an increase.

Masirah - 600 tickets, I feel this map ends prematurely way too often

Silent Eagle - Only has 600 tickets, but usually ends decisively due to lack of flags, maybe a slight ticket increase (and more flags)

Wanda - Like Icebound it only has 500 tickets for an asset heavy map, usually ends way too early, needs an increase

Xiangshan - Has 650 tickets but I feel like the rounds always end prematurely, especially the modern layers.

Wanda and Icebound are the biggest offenders, but it would be really nice if a team that loses the initial asset fight but manages to hold on to it's flags has a chance for a comeback with respawning assets.

I mean technically its not a suggestion. after all he is giving feedback on 4k maps with lack of tickets and I can agree with him. alot of 4km maps end quickly because people keep throwing themselves at a problem and end up losing atleast 16 tickets (1 per wounded, 1 per death) per full squad in the mid rounds, and I can use that same value for apcs(5 per apc, 2 per crew)/tanks. In just a few respawns the game is over. Here's a random estimate I made:

16 tickets per squad (Asset or not doesn't matter and excess can be used for an asset being lost) for 5 minutes. There are normally 9 squads on a team 16*5*9 = 720 tickets. With that said what you can take from that is. If all squads...Die, go wounded, or lose their assets within 5 minutes the game can be over in an instant which is often what happens mid rounds other than the 30 tickets per flag lost.

I think we will end up agreeing to disagree on this one. But out of curiosity do you have tracker links to rounds where this issue happened?

Why should he provide you with a tracker for such a thing? The argument is pretty obvious.

Right now meta is race to 200 kills then two flag caps + assets and you've won.. adding more tickets could add some time and more attempts for respective teams with assets etc.

But still I do not find the ticket meta too bad right now..

He doesn't need to do anything. But in the interest of discussing this objectively I figured I would ask him for one. He has observed an issue meaning he played in these games so it shouldn't be too hard to get a few trackers. He also stated it is a recurring issue so he could even get a tracker next time it happens. I think the tracker will show something else but until I know which rounds he specifically is talking about I can’t accurately say that. And it is not like I am trying to hide that fact I stated up front I expect we will disagree. Basically what I am saying is yes the argument is obvious as in I can understand it. But I also happen to think it is wrong.

On some maps such a Xiangshan and Silent eagle the reason for the quick rounds might actually be the lack of flags rather than lack of tickets, just 3 flags on the maps on some layers resulting in one team sometimes getting outcapped before even the 20 minute mark for heavy assets.

I'm rethinking some of my suggestions above, however, 500 tickets for Wanda and Icebound are still too low, I don't anyone can argue otherwise.

I miss the days of 1500 tickets because now I got everyone to do armor brigade tactics...

Tank + APC + IFV (Bradley TOW) + anti-air vehicle + CAS all in view of each other supporting the infantry and super FOBs in view of objectives.

Big desert FOBs with 1600 ticket layouts, multiple FOBs in view of a flag, all identical enemy doesn't know what to area attack. That is fun and how to play. Base immersion, chilling and killing. What people hate is like on Burning Sands fighting in the city for so long back in the day.

We need at least 1000 tickets on each 4k map or have it be another control for admins to put a vote on. Honestly the Vietnam maps would be fun with 1000 tickets each side.

1000 tickets is fair and gives enough time for developments to happen. Time the bleed rates from different possible bleed starting points. Then a timer delay on flag bleeding.

Anything but insurgency should have 1000 tickets. Which I never understood why AAS has flag bleeds to help conventional vs conventional armies. But insurgents are forced to manually kill all the tickets by taking out enemies and their assets. Gaza has 800 and its too much to be fair against 4 caches.
