I think it would help a lot to change the textures of said scope. Since some maps tend to be dark like Grozny or Vadso. A change of textures is easier than creating a separate system to illuminate the scope, but it would also be a nice addition to the game.

We could replace the texture with illuminated one. It wont really glow and only change the color. The question is whether it would make it harder to use the scope on bright maps.
