Question about running a hosted PR server

I hope I am posting this in the correct forum, as I didn't know where else to put it.
Our clan ran a PR server quite some time ago when PR was still a BF2 mod. We also had a license back in the day, and are planning to apply for a new one.
Recently we picked up playing PR again, and figured we wanted to run it on a server again, hosted by a server host.
What I'm a bit puzzled about though is what game server I should get. Back in the day it was common practice to obtain a BF2 server, and ask the host to install PR.
As such, as PR is standalone now, does it still suffice to get a BF2 server and have the host install PR? Or is there a host somewhere that offers PR servers?
I've found one host that still offers BF2 servers, Elite Game Servers, but I'm not sure if getting a BF2 server is still the way to go. I hope someone can tell me.
