lol but they r gonna have a G3 w/Ugl in v.6 most likely and with optics

As far as I know they'll be sticking with the G3, and a G3A3(A4?)Z (Scoped) will be in 0.6, possibly a version with an HK79 (or other UGL if the devs decide to use a different one.) as well, but definetly at some point.

I've often suggested the HK33 (the 2 weapons in the foreground of that picture) but nothing has come of it.

I can't understand why mec should use G3s instead of AK-101s or Abakan. Kalashikov is still far better than G3,M-16.

whatever man, the new G3 is absolutely deadly now, m16 feels like a bb gun in comparison.

They didn't put the G3 in because the AK101 was better than the M16 so they had to make the M16 better by giving the MEC a worse weapon, they put it in because they thought most ME countries use the G3. Although the logic seems to fail because the MEC's vehicles aren't really in use at all (eg. BTR-90 isn't even in production, T90 isn't used by any ME countries etc..)

However, the G3 now is way better than the M16. In almost all areas, the amount of power it has means the 20 round magazine is often more than enough.

in close combat isnt , yesterday i was playing on jabal , in the city , when full auto its the law , the magazine of the g3 empty very rapid .

The Ak101 has never been better then the M16. The M16 is better at longer ranges and the AK101 is better at close range.

Weird. I thought the only grenade launcher the G3/HK33/G41 series could take was the HK79. Can someone point me to what the heck the ones in the picture are called and/or some information about them?

We are talking about ingame, and ingame, they were equal. Try shooting a guy half way across the map with the AK101 and you would have a hard time doing it. Use the M16, and it is much easier. Trust me, I used the M16 to basically snipe 30+ guys during the last battle of Campaign 2 in the Tournament from across a river. This was 0.32 too.

i dont care what you say pomi i just want to see it in game with the one with the grenade luancher and a nother idea the mec support weapon could be a MG3 to you know there are mec nations that use too

If the other sides get GPMGs (which is being considered, I believe) as "heavy support" request kits (or something like that) an MG3 would indeed be the premier choice for the MEC. And lets face it, it would be nice for the MEC to get something that out strips its US/UK equivelent.

Damn it, why does the MEC steal all the Norwegian kit? We use the G3, the G3 with GL AND the MG3!

I would love to see the MG3 for MEC, at least as a stationary weapon. Imagine trying to rush across the EJOD Desert while several of these babies were firing at you.
